Rea Colby, FNP is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and currently licensed to practice in Maryland. Rea completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University. She completed her Associate in Nursing at State University of New York – Adirondack. While earning her degrees, Rea continued to work as a registered nurse in an acute cardiac telemetry-medical/surgical unit and General Surgical Unit.
Rea also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Norwich University and worked with various companies in support of the armed forces. She was a military spouse for over 20 years until her husband retired from the U.S. Navy Submarine Force.
Professionally, Rea enjoys working with patients and building a strong compassionate relationship using a multi-modality approach to help promote the quality of care for patients in pain; acute and chronic. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time sailing, traveling, and watching sports with her husband, her three sons and two miniature dachshunds.
