Dr. Kim Hoang is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management Specialist with a background in Anesthesiology. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Neuroscience. She attended medical school at the University of Rochester, where she stayed on, following graduation, to complete an Anesthesiology residency program at Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Hoang moved to Boston next to complete her fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. She believes in a collaborative and multi-modal approach to patient care. She utilizes physical therapy, medication management, and a wide range of ultrasound as well as X-ray guided procedures to decrease pain and improve functionality. She has served as a committee member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
