Dr. Bednarek is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and fellowship trained in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine. He endorses a holistic, multidisciplinary approach including physical therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, medication management, and fluoroscopically guided spine procedures to decrease pain and improve physical function of his patients.
Dr. Bednarek is originally from the Baltimore area and has an undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). He received his medical degree from Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków, Poland. He has completed an internship in General Surgery and a residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He completed an Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine fellowship with OSS Health in York, PA.
