Georgia Harper is a 2019 graduate of the AACC/UMB Physician Assistant program. Prior to Physician Assistant school she graduated in 2012 from the University of Maryland, College Park Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Anthropology. She has worked with KureSmart Pain Management since 2013, working as a Medical Assistant, Prior Authorization Specialist, and Assistant Director of Clinical Operations. She also performed an elective rotation in PA school with KureSmart and has prior experience working in Urgent Care as a Medical Assistant. While in PA school she was awarded both the Outstanding Primary Care Physician Assistant Student award by the Johns Hopkins school of medicine and the University of Maryland as well as the Faculty Award from AACC/UMB for exemplifying the AAPA Code of Ethics.
Before working in the medical field, Georgia worked at the National Institute of Mental Health Primate Core, the George Washington University Center for the Advanced Study of Human Paleobiology, and the Jane Goodall Institute assisting in biomedical and behavioral research of nonhuman primates.
In her spare time, Georgia serves on the board of directors for the Central Maryland Area Health Education Center. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
